* If you have no idea how and where to start, read 'help newhelp'.

* To request general information from other players, use the
'question channel' (for information on all channels, see
'help channels'.

* To turn off the hints that are flashed on your screen, type
'advice'.

* To turn off a channel, just type its name.

* CONSIDER all monsters before attacking them.

* There are many helpfiles on many subjects, it would be worth your time to read some of them. Particularly important ones are:
'HELP RULES', 'HELP V2' and 'HELP HISTORY'.
